Missedcall Technologies Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17016333) and operates the JuncReady mobile application (the "App"). This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
Information you provide
- Account details: name, email address, password (hashed), user type (learner, instructor, school owner).
- Profile information: postcode, phone number, profile photo, bio, hourly rate (instructors only).
- Verification documents: ADI badge photos and ADI number (instructors only, for verification).
- Learner data: theory test date, practical test date, driving hours, lesson notes.
- Payment information: handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers ourselves.
Information collected automatically
- Location data: if you grant permission, during active driving lessons only, to record your route. Not collected outside lessons.
- Device information: device type, operating system, app version, push notification token.
- Usage data: which features you use, anonymous error logs (via Sentry).
3. How we use it
- To provide the App's features (matching learners with instructors, recording lesson routes, generating earnings reports, etc.).
- To verify ADI credentials before granting instructor status.
- To send transactional notifications (lesson reminders, payment confirmations, password resets).
- To improve the App through anonymous analytics.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Lawful basis
We process your data on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:
- Contract: to deliver the App's services to you.
- Legitimate interests: to maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve the App.
- Consent: for optional features such as location tracking and marketing emails.
- Legal obligation: where required by law (e.g. tax records).
5. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Service providers: Render (hosting), Cloudinary (image storage), Resend (email), Stripe (payments), Mapbox (maps), Anthropic (AI driving coach), Sentry (error monitoring).
- Within the App: learners and instructors who are linked share booking and payment information with each other; school members share data with their school.
- Legal authorities: if required by law.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers (e.g. Anthropic) are based outside the UK/EU. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for these transfers.
7. How long we keep it
We retain your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep it for legal reasons (e.g. financial records — 7 years).
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you (download via Account → Download my data).
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

9. Children
The App is not intended for users under 16. UK driving learners must be at least 17 (16 for those receiving the enhanced rate of the mobility component of PIP). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
10. Security
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Postgres encryption). Access to production systems is restricted and logged.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or email. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
